Q: What platforms are supported?

Studio Pro and Bot Runner can run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022. Check requirements here.

Supported Browsers: Chrome Native, Edge Native, and Chrome Selenium.

Q: What is a Workflow Run in plan definition?

A Workflow Run is how often software bots can be executed to perform business processes of any length or duration, including runs during development, testing, and production phases.

Q: What is a Bot Workflow Step?

Number of steps that are allowed within one workflow. For AppSumo-lings we offer unlimited number of steps within the workflow!

Q: What is Remote Bots Deployment?

With ElectroNeek Orchestrator (available only on Tiers 3, 4, and 5) you can automatically deploy bot updates into Bot Runners machine.

Q: What are Multi-concurrent Windows user sessions?

Multi-concurrent Windows user sessions is a feature that allows you to install Bot Runner in multiple user sessions in a server to run bots in parallel optimizing the available resources.

Q: How do I start with ElectroNeek?

  1. After you purchase the Tier on AppSumo, you will receive an activation email allowing you to set up your account.
  2. After setting up your account you’ll be able to log into our Portal (link)
  3. Once in Portal, you’ll see all the available products in the Automation Hub. See the “What Automation tools are included in my plan?” question to understand what will be visible for you.
  4. The next step is to download and install the Studio Pro software into your machine to start creating your bots. Follow the instructions here.
  5. Install ElectroNeek browser extension. Follow the instructions here.

Q: Do AppSumo plans include all ElectroNeek solutions?

No, they don’t. AppSumo lifetime plans include only the RPA platform (Studio Pro, Bot Runner and Orchestrator). The ElectroNeek platform also has other components that are consumption based. If you are interested in those features please contact us at [email protected]

Q: How do I run my bots?

Tiers 1 and 2 will be able to execute bots only from Studio Pro.
Tiers 3, 4, and 5 will be able to run bots from Studio Pro, Bot Runner and Orchestrator.

Q: Can I have bots on multiple machines?

Yes, you can run bots in multiple machines by installing Bot Runner software on them. Bot Runner is only included in Tiers 3, 4, and 5.

Q: Does ElectroNeek support working with all types of desktop and web applications?

Yes, it does.

Q: What is Studio Pro?

ElectroNeek Studio Pro is a no-code/low-code development environment that empowers users to create bots using a visual programming approach. It features an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, enabling quick and easy creation of advanced automation workflows without the need for complex coding or development work.

Q: What is bot runner (available for Tiers 3,4,5)?

ElectroNeek Bot Runner is a tool that executes bots without needing to install and run ElectroNeek Studio. Bot Runner executes bots either from the local machine or those published to Orchestrator.

Q: Does Bot Runner require internet access to operate?

If Bot Runner is used to run attended bots then internet access is not required unless there are activities in the workflow that uses the internet (such as “HTTP Request” or similar). If Bot Runner is supposed to run bots published to Orchestrator, then internet access is required to check the user’s license and permissions to use Orchestrator.

Q: How can I run bots?

From Studio Pro (on all tiers) and additionally on Tiers 3,4,5 from Bot Runner locally or via Orchestrator.

Q: What’s the difference between attended and unattended bots?

Attended bots are launched manually from Studio Pro or Bot Runner and usually require interaction with humans at some point of the workflow like entering information or selecting a files to be processed.
Unattended bots are executed automatically, and are usually launched by the Orchestrator.

Q: What is Orchestrator SaaS?

ElectroNeek Orchestrator SaaS is a tool, a part of the ElectroNeek portal, used to manage bots and integrate them into various RPA and non-RPA projects. Users can set a specific schedule for the bots, generate webhook links to trigger those bots in third-party apps, and more.

Q: What is Closed remote desktop support?

For the execution of Bots that interact with the Graphical User Interface of the different applications, a Windows session needs to be active to ensure a successful interaction. This feature will automatically initiate an RDP session each time a bot is about to start.
